Usage:
- Express whether or not one has ability/capability to do something

- V-(으)ㄹ 줄 알다 = ‘know how to do’

- V-(으)ㄹ 줄 모르다 = ‘don’t know how to do’

- V-(으)ㄹ 수 있다/없다 can be used for ‘ability’, however V-(으)ㄹ 수 있다/없다 has also ‘possibility’, so it is safe to use V-(으)ㄹ 줄 알다/모르다 for ‘ability’.

Verbs end in a vowel or ㄹ + -ㄹ 줄 알다/모르다:
쓰다 -- 쓸 줄 알다/모르다   = know/don't know how to write/ to use
고치다 -- 고칠 줄 알다/모르다 = know/don't know how to fix
사용하다 -- 사용할 줄 알다/모르다  = know/don't know how to use

I know how to cook a tasty cold noodle.

2. 생일케이크를 잘 만들 줄 몰라요.
I don’t know how to make a birthday cake well.

3. 차를 운전할 줄 알아요. 그런데 오토바이를 운전할 줄 몰라요.
I know how to drive a car. But I don’t know how to ride a motorbike.

4. 이 기계를 사용할 줄 알아요?
- 아니요, 할 줄 몰라요. 다른 사람을 물어보세요.
Do you know how to use this machine?
