Usage:
- Express a promise or decision with oneself or someone = decide to, promise to…
- The grammar is mainly ended in the past tense -기로 했어요/했습니다. Sometimes, it is ended in the present tense -기로 해요 to express that the speaker and listener make a promise to do something.

We have decided to get married after one year.

4. 내일부터 매일 운동하기로 했어요.
I decided to do exercise every day from tomorrow.

5. 내일 등산 누가 카메라를 가져와요?
- 토니 씨가 가져오기로 했어요.
When we go hiking, who will bring the camera tomorrow?
- Tony decided to bring one.

6. 새해에 무슨 계획이 있어요?
- 새해에는 열심히 공부하기로 했어요.
What plans do you have for the New Year?
- In the New Year, I have decided to study more diligently.

7. 내일 할까요?
- 등산하기로 해요. (= 등산하기로 합시다.)
What shall we do tomorrow?

8. 우리는 회사를 시작하기로 했어요. 
We’ve decided to start a company.
